Ammon Edwin Shepherd

Ammon is a Digital Humanities Developer at the Scholars' Lab where he codes websites, builds tools to improve old projects, and does system administration. He helps manage the Makerspace and has experience with 3D printing, and the Arduino and Raspberry Pi micro computers. He also serves as co-liaison to the German Department.

Christine J Ruotolo

Chris leads a team of ten subject liaisons in the arts and humanities, ensuring that library services and collections meet the evolving needs of these disciplines. She provides leadership and vision for the library’s liaison services, with a focus on outreach, engagement, and research support. She is currently the subject liaison for Philosophy and for the American Studies program.

Robin Lindley Ruggaber

As the Director of Strategic Technology Partnerships & Initiatives, I work within and without the University of Virginia as a technology consultant, advisor, mentor, and IT management professional. Engaging with the higher education, library, and museum communities, I work to establish and participate in sustainable communities that provide open-source technologies, standards, and practices supporting the creation, access, use, and preservation of scholarly work. Within the UVA Library, I engage with stakeholders and manage projects to achieve strategic library objectives.

Nicole Royal

Nicole Royal manages the preservation workflow resulting from items identified the CLIR Hidden Collections Project, Book Traces @ UVA.
She stabilizes and creates custom housings for Special Collections materials, as well as doing minor repair work on the circulating collections.

Will is the lead technologies specialist for collecting, processing, and output of 3D data. He works with students, faculty, and staff to implement 3D data technologies in research, curriculum, and collaboration, with a focus on cultural heritage preservation at our World Heritage Site at the University of Virginia.

Jennifer O'Brien Roper

As the Director, Digital Strategies and Scholarly Communication, Jennifer provides vision and direction for teams focused on metadata and discovery of resources, digitization, the institutional repository and library publishing platforms, and advocacy for and support of sustainable scholarly communication models.

Perry D Roland

Perry – plans, coordinates and conducts metadata enhancement and remediation to facilitate better discovery for library users; – collaborates on the design and development of long-term solutions for improved metadata management and interoperability; – engages in infrastructure implementation, with a particular focus on scripting and automation to achieve scale and sustainability; – creates and maintains metadata mappings between repositories and discovery environment indexing efforts; – creates and maintains local documentation on metadata standards and application profiles; and – serves as

Leigh is responsible for collections development and management strategies for all types of materials in traditional and emerging formats to best support the diverse research and learning environments of faculty, students, and staff.
