The Weatherly Library Fund was established in 1995 by John (CLAS 1954) and Joan Wier Weatherly, to be used for the acquisition and preservation of books, manuscripts, and other library material, primarily those pertaining to the history and literature of the Constitution, government and people of the United States of America, the late Confederate States of America, and the Kingdoms of England, Scotland, and Ireland. The family since added to the endowment and the fund has been indispensable in bolstering the Library’s American and British history collections.
