The C. Venable Minor Endowment Fund was established in 1996 in order to further the ability of the University Library in the collection, preservation and dissemination of materials which are of value for the recorded history of Albemarle County, Charlottesville and the University of Virginia. C. Venable Minor (1901–1988) was a 1922 graduate of the College and a 1925 graduate of the Law School.
