The Martin C. and Ruthe R. Battestin Library Fund was established in 2008. The fund is used solely for the acquisition of manuscripts and rare books for Special Collections at the University of Virginia Library. Martin C. Battestin was a professor of English ar UVA and renowned Fielding scholar.
