John Cook Wyllie (1908–1968) was the longtime Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts at the Library, and was Director of the University Libraries at the time of his death. The John Cook Wyllie Memorial Library Fund was established by the friends and relatives of Mr. Wyllie. The income of the fund is to be expended for books and materials in those areas of particular interest to Mr. Wyllie, specifically typography, history of printing and Virginiana.
