We offer a Windows computer with a large amount of memory (128GB) and fast processors (dual Xeon 3.0Ghz 4-core with 10M cache) in Brown Science & Engineering Library (Room i-043). This is especially helpful when using software that relies heavily on RAM, like Stata. Datasets and specialized research software are also loaded onto this machine. This computer is available to U.Va. faculty, staff, and students. Please contact res-consult@virginia.edu to schedule a time and to have a log-in account created for you.
