Using Library spaces

Information below is meant to help you discover reservable spaces, study spaces, and event spaces in the Library's various locations.

Reserve Library spaces

The Library has a variety of reservable study rooms and tables for students, staff, and faculty.

Looking for a temporary display area? Reserve the Tabling Table in Clemons.

A lactation room is available in Clemons 311; check out the key at the 4th floor information desk. Another is located in Shannon Library, room 205; no key required.

Study carrels

For graduate students: There are reservable study carrels in the Fine Arts Library and reservable shelving in the Music Library. Learn more about reserving a study carrel or shelf.

Classrooms, instruction spaces, and event space

Clemons 322, Clemons 407, and Clemons G-Lab are media and computer classrooms available for reservation. Learn more about reserving media classrooms.

The VizWall, located on the 3rd floor of Clemons Library, is great for presentations of class projects, technology demonstrations, instruction sessions, and special media events with a large monitor display and lounge area. There is the capacity to link to and display up to 4 computers or display a single computer across all of the monitors. First come, first served.

Auditorium

The Harrison/Small Auditorium is an all-purpose space that can be set up for a variety of purposes, including events. Seats up to 190 with chairs in rows, or 120 at round tables. Learn more and request use of the Harrison/Small Auditorium.

Shannon Library seminar room 330

This room seats 75 with chairs in rows (or reception style), or 36 with chairs at tables. Learn more and request use of the seminar room.
